About Ben
I'm a writing tutor with a background in both creative and academic writing, and I specialize in helping students who feel stuck, frustrated, or overwhelmed when it comes to writing.
I hold a B.A. in Creative Writing/English and a Master's in Journalism, and I've worked as a writing tutor at Linn-Benton Community College. I've also taught my own writing class to both foster youths and adults.

My approach is simple: I help students build confidence and momentum. Instead of just correcting mistakes, I work with students to:

- Organize their thoughts clearly
- Improve structure, grammar, and flow
- Feel more capable and less stressed
