About Tamara
Hi everyone, I’m Tamara — it’s so nice to meet you. I’m a professional writer, editor, and former attorney, and I help students and professionals strengthen their writing, improve clarity and communication, and feel confident expressing their ideas. Over the years, I’ve learned that strong writing isn’t only about grammar or perfect sentences — it’s about clarity, structure, and truly understanding what you want to say. And that’s exactly what I love teaching. In my previous work as an attorney, precise writing and communication were essential. Every word mattered, and every sentence needed intention and impact. Today, I bring that same level of care, attention to detail, and clarity to my students. My teaching style is supportive, structured, and personalized. I believe learning should feel empowering. Whether you’re looking to improve academic writing, polish professional documents, or develop stronger everyday communication skills, I’m here to help guide you through the process — step by step. Together, we’ll focus on fundamentals like clarity, tone, organization, and flow, while building confidence and developing your unique writing voice. My goal is always simple: to help you express yourself clearly, professionally, and confidently — in a way that feels natural to you. Outside of teaching, I’m a mom of twins, a lover of reading, and you can usually find me exploring new spots in Miami or enjoying time by the water.
