About Karl
I grew up in a family of musical thespians and vaudevillians. However, I am not an actor. But I did develop a strong understanding of diction and pronunciation. I have taught ESL in China, Russia, Turkey and the Czech Republic.

I usually start with a warm up: the younger the class then the more physical it is. Then I give them an introductory word that is the main word that the class will incorporate. I make sure there is a break in the middle of each class, and I make sure each student is given a chance to say something. Then I finish the class with a warm-down ... usually a word game.
