About Nicole
I have one year left before obtaining my degree in Teaching Languages. I therefore understand the struggles that come along with the learning of languages. I always aim to relate with my students and make them feel comfortable and safe to be able to make mistakes. You have to make mistakes in order to correct them and to be aware of precisely what you do not understand. Through that you will gain your confidence and understand that you have the potential to correct your mistakes and become an achiever. Therefor I promote students to give credit to their mistakes and understand that they will soon be able to correct those same mistakes they started with.

I generally make use of PowerPoint presentations as experience has taught me that visual aids give a lot more support in learning new content. I aim to teach students who feel that they do not have a passion for language and those who struggle to overcome English obstacles. I can teach in English and Afrikaans. My lessons will contain the new learning content, activities concerning new content, various examples and reading material to provoke the lost passion for the English lesson. I am patient and I am determined to help students achieve what they thought they never could.
