About Ruby Jean
I am a Secondary English teacher in Scotland of four years currently located in Perthshire where I enjoy hiking to secluded reading spots. I have a lot of experience of working with pupils of all ages as I was an overseas EFL tutor for two years prior to Secondary English school teaching. I am very knowledgeable in the English curriculum and I teach classes for pupils aged 11 - 18. I am passionate about helping young people develop a lifelong love of learning and look forward to meeting you for a trial lesson!

Every lesson will be full of activities that will help you become more confident in reading and writing. We will practise reading comprehension at your level; tackle RUAE; the critical essay and portfolio. You will be able to practise writing essays, reading aloud and answering comprehension questions, grammar, essays, persuasive and creative writing! Every lesson will be packed with learning activities and we will review if you found the lesson useful and anything you would like to review every week. Homework is also optional, yet I encourage completing solo reading before our next lesson to get the most out of our sessions!
