About Isha

I am currently studying Law at the University of Melbourne, and I have always had a strong interest in English, writing and communication.
Through my own academic experience, I have developed a strong understanding of what makes a clear, well-structured and persuasive piece of writing.

I enjoy helping students understand concepts in a simple way and breaking difficult tasks into manageable steps.

I believe tutoring should be centered around the student. I take the time to understand how each student learns best, what they are struggling with and what they want to achieve. My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and improving.

Whether a student needs help with the basics or wants to push their results further, I am committed to supporting them throughout their learning journey.

About the lesson

Personalized English lessons designed around each student.
Whether your child is building their foundations in primary school, developing stronger writing skills in high school, or preparing for VCE English, my lessons are tailored to their individual level, learning style and goals.

I focus on making English easier to understand and more enjoyable, while helping students build skills they can use independently. Lessons can cover reading comprehension, creative writing, persuasive writing, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, essay writing, text analysis, argument analysis and exam preparation.

For younger students, I work on developing strong fundamentals such as sentence structure, punctuation, spelling, reading and writing confidence. For secondary and VCE students, I focus on analytical writing, essay structure, understanding texts, improving expression and developing effective SAC and exam techniques.
Every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching approach rather than expecting every student to learn in the same way.

I can provide personalized activities, writing prompts, practice questions and detailed feedback to help students recognize their strengths and improve areas they find challenging.

My goal is not just to help students complete their work, but to help them become more confident, capable and independent English students.
