About Victoria
Hello, I'm a mother of 3 children ranging from year 1 to year 11. I've worked as a learning support assistant nine. I enjoy the job and continue to work alongside part time teacher training with an English specialism. I have a passion for reading and literature and am keen to help children with their English learning.

I am highly focused on grammar and punctuation, along with other fundamentals of English. Analytical skills are important and are another focus - a skill essential to those GCSE years.
My lessons will be engaging and as fun as possible but sometimes we do just have to get down to it! I understand that some children find learning difficult and will aim to find interesting ways to understand the material.
I'm a parent myself so understand many of the current trends and interests young people may have. Topics around the students interests can be included in the lessons where suitable.
Continuous assessment is key to development. I will continuously assess against our targets and curriculum targets by watching and noting the students progress and noticing areas for development.
IMPORTANT
The free first lesson will be used to:
- Establish needs
- Get to know each other
- Discuss how the tutoring will work
- Ask/answer any questions
This allows you to gain all the information you need to decide whether to go ahead with paid lessons and enables me to plan to your needs.
