About Vinay

Hi, my name is Vinay, I am currently a student looking to study Optometry at University. I graduated high school with all A*, A and B grades which were all made possible through my disciplined attitude and work ethic which I bring to all lessons. I am an avid football fan and player setting the foundation for my passion and leadership skills which I embody throughout my day to day life and hope to share with my pupils through my determined and fun attitude when teaching. My mum was a teacher which taught me the importance of a friendly and approachable authority figure in the field of education, enhancing students learning as well as their enjoyment of the subjects.

About the lesson

I prompt all lessons are suited to the individual student upon subjects of their request, ensuring their areas of weakness are combatted directly, maintaining an interest in the subject whilst drawing creative links.

I have previously tutored and mentored Year 7 pupils in secondary school evoking advanced literary interpretations as well as making reading and writing fun, the way it should be !

I am an A level English Language and Literature graduate achieving grade A*, solely dependent on creative thinking which I have an ethic to share with all of my pupils! Being invited by my former secondary school to tutor KS3 English adds to my experience, strengthening my impact on creative young minds.

I am available to teach from ages 5-16 ranging from KS1,KS2 and KS3.

Lessons will typically last 1 hour unless previously agreed with parent/guardian, allowing for content to be covered as well as an assessment and debrief of what was covered during the lesson, ensuring the student has learnt during our time together.
