About Rhea
Hi! I'm an experienced Teaching Assistant with over seven years of experience supporting students in schools across the UK. I have worked with children and young people of all ages and abilities, providing classroom support as well as one-to-one tuition to help them build confidence and achieve their goals.
For the past two years, I have specialised in English and literacy, helping students improve their reading, writing, comprehension, spelling, and overall confidence with English. I tailor my sessions to each learner, creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
Outside of work, I'm a passionate reader and creative writer. I believe that enjoying reading is one of the best ways to become a stronger writer and communicator, and I love helping students overcome challenges while discovering confidence in their own abilities. Whether your child needs extra support, exam preparation, or simply wants to develop a love of English, I'd be delighted to help them on their learning journey.

Learning English can feel challenging at times, whether you’re just starting to build your reading and writing skills, preparing for GCSE exams, or looking to grow your confidence with English. My aim is to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I offer lessons for primary, secondary and GCSE students, with each lesson tailored to the individual learner. We can focus on reading, comprehension, spelling, grammar, writing, English Language, English Literature, study skills, exam preparation, or creative writing. Together, we’ll build on strengths, tackle any areas of difficulty, and work towards realistic goals.
My background working in education has given me experience supporting a wide range of learners with different needs and learning styles. I understand that confidence is often just as important as ability, so I focus on creating positive, encouraging lessons where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
Whether your child needs extra support with schoolwork, wants to improve their English skills, prepare for exams, or develop a love of reading and writing, I am committed to helping them make progress and feel proud of what they achieve.
