Hello! I'm Mary, a friendly and patient tutor who helps students gain confidence in English at their own pace---no pressure! I have a qualification as an English tutor in TEFL-120 hour and also a diploma in computer science. Apart from teaching, I love cooking, baking, and hiking so we'll have plenty to talk about :) Learning should be fun and natural!! Hi! Are you ready to speak English with confidence? Then I can help you in this journey step-by-step. My lessons are for beginners who want to improve in speaking English fluently or writing. Learning should be fun and natural! I use a communicative approach, emphasizing speaking and listening in real context. I combine this with task-based learning, where students complete practical tasks like role-plays. After each lesson, I give personalized feedback to track progress. In my 60-minute lesson: 5-10 min - it's a warm-up for small talk, vocabulary, review, or a simple game. 10-15 min - Main topic introduction 20-15 min - practice activities that include speaking, writing tasks, or reading 10 min - Error correction and feedback 5 min - wrap-up where we set some goals for next time
