About Jihaan
Hi, I’m Jihaan, and I’m passionate about helping students develop their English skills in a way that feels encouraging, practical and enjoyable.
With a Bachelor of Applied Psychology (Honors) and experience working with children, teenagers and young adults in educational and community settings, I bring a patient, supportive and individualized approach to every lesson.
I understand that every student learns differently. My goal is not only to help you improve your English, but also to build your confidence, communication skills and independence as a learner.
Whether you need support with schoolwork, grammar, reading, writing, speaking, comprehension or everyday English, I will work with you to identify your goals and create lessons that suit your needs.
Your progress matters to me, and I want every student to leave each lesson feeling more confident than when they started.

My approach to tutoring is personalized, supportive and engaging. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.
I tailor each lesson to the learner’s age, level and goals, using a combination of conversation practice, reading, comprehension, grammar exercises, writing activities, vocabulary development and practical examples. I focus not only on understanding English, but also on helping students use it confidently in everyday communication.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with the pace and activities adapted to each student.
I have a Bachelor of Applied Psychology (Honors) and experience working with children, teenagers and young adults in educational and community settings. My background in psychology also helps me understand different learning styles and create a patient, encouraging learning environment.
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, university students and adults, from beginner to advanced levels. Whether you need help with school English, academic writing, grammar, speaking, comprehension or simply want to become more confident communicating in English, I will tailor the lessons to your individual needs.
