About Willa

I hold a Bachelor’s in English Language and Literature and a Master’s in TESOL, with 7 years of experience teaching English to students of all ages and levels. My teaching philosophy emphasizes interactive, engaging lessons that balance structure, communication, and personalized support. I focus on helping learners gain fluency, confidence, and practical communication skills.

In my lessons, I integrate conversation practice, grammar exercises, vocabulary building, and reading comprehension with fun, real-world activities. About the lesson

English lessons are most effective when learners actively engage with the language through speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises. I structure my sessions to strengthen fluency, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and comprehension in ways that are interactive, relevant, and enjoyable. Students gain confidence by practicing dialogue, essay writing, reading comprehension, and everyday communication, while receiving constructive feedback that fosters steady improvement.

Beginners focus on foundational vocabulary, basic grammar, sentence building, and pronunciation exercises to gain a strong start. Intermediate learners practice structured essays, conversational fluency, idiomatic expressions, and analytical reading. Advanced learners refine writing style, advanced vocabulary, professional communication, and debate or presentation skills. Every lesson includes practical exercises, discussion, and supportive feedback to reinforce learning outcomes and ensure growth.

English lessons also develop critical thinking, confidence, and the ability to communicate ideas effectively. Students learn to express themselves clearly in personal, academic, and professional contexts. My goal is to create a nurturing environment where learners feel comfortable making mistakes, experimenting with language, and gaining confidence as capable English users.
