About Fiona
At the age of 15 I worked with young children aged 6 - 10 for a family friend offering tuition.
I began working in a mental health hospital at the age of 21 and as many of them did not get to complete their GCSE's or A-levels, I assisted to teach them many subjects not just English. This also included Maths and Geography. I did that for approximately 2 years. I then went onto another hospital where I assisted them in completing job applications and writing personal statements to enrol at their choice of Universities.

I am a twenty-three year old female, living in Sandown, Isle Of Wight. I completed my Leaving Certificate (A-Levels) for English in 2012.
I have always had a passion for English and I have also completed my Preparing to teach in the life long sector Level 4 which has given me more skills with regards to teaching students.
I cover a wide range including Poetry, Literacy and Creative Writing, this list is not exhaustive.
I am able to adapt to any level required from Primary school to College.
Depending on the students needs I will decide the weakest points of their learning and use this to strengthen their abilities. When I was learning English in school I found it rather fun and can make this learning less of a chore and more exciting.
