About Tania
My name is Tania Marais. I was an active top ten student at Bergsig Academy and in the end I received 5 distinctions in my matric year. I am now studying at the University of Pretoria, a BSc. Ecology, as I believe that nature is something we all need to preserve. English was one of my favourite and top subjects in school, I’m very passionate about literature and love teaching others easy and simple ways to make English fun!

I’m an active university student at the University of Pretoria, however I will be able to tutor on: Monday, Wednesday and Friday for an hour each.
I have experience in Argumentative essay writing and will be able to demonstrate to others how to master this format. I’ve had experiences with Radical orators and in school competitions with public speaking, where I’ve received an A+ allowing me to guide students in perfecting their speeches. I especially have experience in literature and more specifically, the Grade 12 reader: Life of Pi, allowing me to demonstrate multiple ways of understanding the book on a deeper but manageable level.
