About Samiha

Hello! I’m Samiha, a university student at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), where I study Korean. Alongside my studies, I enjoy teaching and helping students become more confident in English. I have experience in clearing competitive English language exams.

I have experience working with students and understand that every learner has a different pace and way of understanding things. I am patient, approachable, and happy to explain a concept in different ways until it becomes clear.

My lessons can be tailored to your individual needs, whether you want to improve your English, understand literature and poetry, prepare for exams, or become more confident in speaking and oral expression. I focus on creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions freely and learn without being afraid of making mistakes.

I take my teaching responsibilities seriously and always try to make my classes well-structured, engaging, and useful. My aim is to help every student make steady progress while developing genuine confidence in their abilities.

If you're looking for a friendly and dedicated tutor who will listen to your needs and adapt lessons accordingly, I would be happy to work with you!

About the lesson

As a teacher, I believe that learning English should be engaging, practical, and comfortable. My goal is not only to help students get better marks, but also to help them understand what they are learning and become confident in expressing themselves.

I adapt my teaching method according to each student's level, learning style, and goals. For English and literature, I use simple explanations, examples, discussions, reading exercises, and guided practice. For poetry and literature, I focus on understanding the meaning, themes, characters, language, and important literary ideas rather than simply memorizing answers. For oral expression, I encourage students to speak regularly and build confidence step by step.

A typical class begins with a short review of previous topics, followed by the main lesson and guided practice. I then give the student opportunities to answer questions, explain ideas in their own words, or practise speaking. We finish by reviewing the key points and identifying what the student should work on before the next class.

One of my special features as a teacher is that I am patient and approachable. I encourage students to ask questions without feeling embarrassed about making mistakes. I believe mistakes are an important part of learning, so I create a relaxed environment where students can gradually become more confident.

My classes are suitable for school students and learners who want to improve their English, literature, poetry, speaking, oral expression, or exam performance. I can also adapt lessons for students who simply want to become more comfortable and fluent in English.
