About Siena
I discovered my passion for English at an early age through reading and creative writing, and over ten years, I have developed a teaching practice that combines technical skill with inspiration. Teaching English allows me to guide students in discovering their voice, building confidence, and connecting meaningfully with the language. I have worked with learners of all ages and backgrounds, adapting lessons to individual needs, interests, and goals to create a personalized learning experience. I approach teaching with patience, adaptability, and attention to detail. I prioritize clear communication, active engagement, and building strong foundations while encouraging creativity and independent thinking. Whether preparing students for exams, academic writing, or everyday conversation, I emphasize skills that will last a lifetime. My philosophy blends structure and flexibility, ensuring students feel supported while motivated to explore, practice, and grow. Outside teaching, I continue reading, writing, and participating in professional development to remain connected to evolving trends in language and pedagogy. My English lessons provide an engaging, warm, and structured environment where students can develop both skill and confidence. I focus on integrating reading, writing, speaking, and listening to create a holistic understanding of the language. By helping students connect language to their own experiences and goals, I ensure that learning English feels meaningful, motivating, and practical. Lessons include literature study, writing exercises, conversational practice, and grammar instruction—all tailored to the student’s proficiency and interests.
I guide learners of all levels. Beginners focus on foundational grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary through structured exercises and conversation practice. Intermediate students expand their reading comprehension, essay writing, and oral presentation skills, while advanced learners refine analytical thinking, persuasive communication, and literary interpretation. Assignments, guided practice, and feedback reinforce learning and encourage steady progress, ensuring that each student feels both challenged and supported in their journey.
