About Brielle

I have 13 years of experience teaching English and hold a Doctorate in Applied Linguistics and English Education. My expertise spans grammar, writing, reading, listening, speaking, critical thinking, and cultural literacy, allowing a comprehensive and practical approach to learning.

I employ a student-centred teaching philosophy that integrates structured lessons with interactive, practical, and engaging activities. My focus is on enhancing communication, comprehension, critical thinking, and expressive confidence, while fostering a supportive and motivating learning environment.

Beyond teaching, I am involved in educational research, curriculum development, and mentoring students for academic and professional English use. My passion is helping learners achieve fluency, confidence, and clarity in English. Witnessing students transform their abilities, communicate effectively, and develop a lasting connection with the language is the most rewarding part of my work.

About the lesson

English lessons with me are designed to strengthen fluency, comprehension, and expressive ability across speaking, writing, reading, and listening. Each student begins with an assessment of grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening comprehension, reading fluency, writing clarity, and speaking confidence. This diagnostic allows me to design personalised lessons that address individual goals, improve weak areas, and challenge students to achieve their highest potential.

Lessons include grammar exercises, structured writing tasks, reading comprehension activities, vocabulary expansion, pronunciation practice, conversational exercises, and real-world communication scenarios. I integrate storytelling, role-playing, debate, and multimedia resources to enhance engagement and deepen understanding. Focus is placed on clarity, expressive ability, accuracy, and effective communication in personal, academic, and professional contexts. Each session balances technical skill development with meaningful practice to foster confidence and fluency.

Advanced learners work on academic writing, critical analysis, advanced conversation, public speaking, presentation skills, literary analysis, and exam preparation. Constructive feedback is continuous, covering language accuracy, stylistic nuance, clarity, and effectiveness. My goal is to help students communicate confidently, think critically in English, and develop language skills that extend to real-life applications, academic success, and professional contexts, while cultivating lifelong enthusiasm for learning English.
