About Hollie
Hello! I am a singer-songwriter with a strong passion for poetry, reading, and creative writing. I have experience working as an education assistant, where I supported children’s learning and development in the classroom, as well as working as a swimming teacher, which helped me build strong communication skills, patience, and confidence when working with young learners. I have also worked as a mentor in musical theatre classes, supporting students in developing their performance skills, creativity, and self-expression. Through my background in both education and the arts, I bring a creative, encouraging, and supportive approach to teaching English, with the goal of inspiring confidence and a genuine love of learning in every student.

My lessons are designed to make English fun, engaging and confidence-building for primary school students. I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves, asking questions and developing their skills at their own pace.
Lessons can focus on reading, spelling, comprehension, grammar, handwriting, creative writing and general literacy support depending on each child’s needs and school level. I also love incorporating storytelling and creative activities to help students stay interested and enjoy learning.
As someone with a passion for creative writing and songwriting, I encourage students to use imagination and creativity while still building strong foundational English skills. My goal is not only to help improve school performance, but also to help children grow in confidence and develop a genuine love for reading and writing.
