Hello! My name is Alexandra, and I’m a student at Johns Hopkins University and the Peabody Institute. As both a full-time student and musician, I bring an interdisciplinary approach to English language and literature tutoring that connects creativity with academic excellence.
I earned 5s on both AP English Language and AP English Literature, and I love helping students refine their writing skills, craft standout college essays, and strengthen their reading and analysis abilities. My teaching emphasizes what top performance requires—analytical precision, expressive clarity, and a unique personal voice.
My lessons combine structured academic preparation with creativity inspired by my musical background. I play violin, flute, and piano, and I compose music, which brings a sense of rhythm, flow, and imagination into every session.
