About Christina

My educational background is in Clinical Psychology, Life/Career Coaching and ESL. I am originally from a small European country called Bulgaria, and I have lived in South Africa for over 30 years. Learning the English language was no small feat for me, coming from a country that speaks only Bulgarian (a language similar to Russian). This transition and learning experience has benefited me greatly in many ways, but especially within my teaching and tutoring practice.

I had the privilege of learning the English language from a foreigner's perspective, which is a more in depth form of learning the structure and mechanisms of a language.

I have endeavoured to combine English tutoring with coaching, because in life nothing exits in a vacuum. Providing a more comprehensive look at how any learning experience, ties into the whole, is a vital and effective approach to truly understanding and successfully applying knowledge gained.

About the lesson

I provide online English lessons and Career/Studies Guidance. We will start with the level you are at right now and work our way up to your desired goal.

I work at a comfortable pace for my students and customise my lessons to suit your individual needs, as each student is unique.

I prefer to make learning a fun and interesting experience, working with what is relevant and beneficial for you. In my opinion language skills are a treasure and mastering a language is the key to a whole new world of possibilities.

Together we will work to meet your academic requirements and align them with your future career and life goals. Because I am also a Life/Career Coach and have a background in Clinical Psychology, I can assist with a multitude of learning methodologies and how to develop your intuitive inner-guidance system to steer you in the direction most suited for your personality, aptitude and inherent talents.
