Not boring, but engaging help. I look over what the student needs to know and then I form a lesson/discussion about it. I use flash cards and active recall to help with long term memory and understanding. I love to start off reading a short book- me or the child, it’s their choice. Then we will talk about what they are learning in school or their reading goals.
