About Amber
I believe that every student has the ability to learn. My goal is to help each student in my care to achieve their "ah-ha" moment in one or more areas they previously did not believe they could. I have helped students of multiple ages, abilities, learning styles, etc. become more confident and comfortable in their abilities not only as a student but also as a person.

I am willing to take multiple approaches to helping you and/or your child learn in a way that makes them feel confident in their knowledge and ability. Learning environments include, but are not limited to virtual and in person at a neutral location (i.e. public library). I have taught for about 12 1/2 years, most of which have been in the middle school sector. In addition to having a Bachelor of Science in English with Teacher Licensure 7-12 from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith, I have an endorsement in special education from Arkansas Tech University, and will complete my Master of Arts in Teaching in May 2026. Lessons will vary based on the need of the student and the content they are currently working on.

Details
As of 3/20/26, rates are $20 per hour for in person (either at a public library or in your home) or virtual tutoring sessions. First session is free to ensure that I am the right match for you and/or your child. If meeting in person, there will be a $5 transportation fee to help cover gas mileage.
