About Ky
I have been teaching English formally since 2015, and am also qualified to tutor History.
I normally teach smaller classes, but this is not a strict requirement.
Many clients and parents of clients have told me that, as a direct result of my tutoring, their English speaking, communication, writing, and grammar have greatly improved.
I have taught English in both physical and remote-learning classrooms, here in South Africa and in Taiwan.

My teaching method is informal, friendly, flexible, and usually prioritizes the client's interests over set teaching materials. I take great pride in my ability to break down complicated ideas into smaller and easier to understand forms. My lessons are characterized by patience, humour, and creativity: you WILL be challenged, but I can promise you that it will be an enjoyable and enlightening experience.
I care deeply for my clients, and fairly often allow my lessons to run over time if the client requests it and there are no pressing matters to attend to. In addition to this, I am always available for consultation, and usually provide extra materials related to the subject at hand if I think the client will find these interesting. On a personal note, my clients generally find me very easy to talk to, and I have on numerous occasions been the man they come to when dealing with unpleasant situations in their own lives.

I am also open to negotiation regarding travel, in-house tutoring, and longer-term homework supervision.
No bookings will be accepted within less than 24 hours of the requested time and date.
Depending on the situation you find yourself in, certain refunds may apply. For example: a death or illness in the family and the related sudden need to travel will see your money returned to you; a hangover, however, will not.
I reserve the right to permanently end my association with clients who prove consistently problematic.
