About Ramesh
My name is Ramesh Shrestha. I am currently a lead educator / Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) at Goodstart Early Learning Jerrabomberra and Leadership Director (Voluntary Position) at Vision For Motivation. I am passionate about teaching and helping others. I have been teaching for more than 7 years, with teaching experiences combined from both Nepal and Australia. Back in Nepal, I was a primary and lower secondary teacher and extracurricular activities coordinator at J.B. Memorial English School. I also taught free coaching classes to students from underprivileged backgrounds. I came to Australia to grow as a teacher and finished my Bachelors of Early Childhood Education and Care from TAFE NSW in 2020. I also received the Council of International Students Australia, Best VET/TAFE student of the year 2020 for my community welfare events and academic excellence. I was also awarded the NSW International Student of the Year 2020 Finalist Award from NSW Governor Margaret Beazley. As an educator, I completed my ECT internship in my 4th year of TAFE at Only About Children, Macquarie Park where I learned to balance the role of an ECT, Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor under the supervision of my director. Before that, I worked as a casual educator supporting and learning practices of different centres. Tutoring with super prof is a means to get some extra cash while meeting and catering for the needs of students from diverse backgrounds.
