About Farhaana
Hello, future students! My name is Farhaana, and I'm thrilled to share my passion for language and culture with you. As a Filipino-American and a civil servant here in the Philippines, I deeply understand the complexities of our world and the importance of effective communication. With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Public Organization, a major in Organizational Management, and currently undertaking a Doctorate Program in Public Administration, I have the academic credentials to guide you toward success. But I'm not just a bookworm - I'm also a previous 51talk tutor for 5 years and currently a capacity development or training coach for five years, so I have the practical skills to help you master English in fun and engaging way. Best of all, I'm a warm and approachable person who loves connecting with others. My tutoring approach is all about making language learning enjoyable and effective. I use a combination of online resources and free conversation to help my students build their skills and confidence. My typical lesson length ranges from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the student's needs and schedule. With 5 years of experience as a 51talk tutor and another 5 years as a capacity development or training coach, I bring a wealth of qualifications and expertise to the table. I work with learners of all levels, from elementary school students to post-graduate scholars, tailoring my teaching methodology to suit their individual needs and goals.
