About Rodrigo
I graduated in English from UFPR, where I studied learning processes based on critical literacy, intercultural translingualism and social-discoursive insertion. I believe that before transmitting any knowledge, it is the teacher's role to guide the student into seeking it. Thus, I always try to exchange learning experiences with my students so they can understand and organize their own way in the language.

Grounded on socio-discursive literacy, I develop classes centered on authentic materials from the other language. The classes are sequences of activities that help the mental processes of comprehension and acquisition of the language points covered in the chosen materials, from vocabulary and syntax of sentences to social interpretations of texts, videos, conversations, etc. This method seeks to present coherent and meaningful tasks to awaken the learner's willingness to engage with the other language.
