About Harri

I'm an English Teacher in a Welsh-Medium Secondary School, teaching ages 11-18. I have 3 years of teaching experience and 3 years as a Teaching Assistant, predominantly focused on English and Drama lessons. I graduated from the University of Exeter in 2022 with an English and Drama Undergraduate Degree (BA Hons).

About the lesson

If you are looking for private tutoring, I would offer a minimum of a 1 hour session, and these would be tailored to your needs.

I am currently teaching the new WJEC English Language and Literature GCSE course, and have extensive knowledge of the WJEC English Language and Literature A-Level, specifically: Poetry Anthology pre-1914, A Streetcar Named Desire and Genre Study of Gothic Literature.

I have a friendly approach, and try to work with my students, rather than telling what to do. I would tailor each session to the student, to ensure maximum comfort and achievement.

If you are looking for your essay to be marked, I would request two sessions. The first session would be an opportunity for you to share the essay with me, and explain the brief and expectations etc. The second, would be post marking and I could explain the feedback to you. These would be two 30 minute sessions (total 1 hour).
