About Innocent
I’m transitioning into teaching from customer care. What that taught me is how to break big problems into small, clear steps for people who are stressed or confused — which is exactly how beginners feel in English class.
So as a first-time teacher, my focus is structure + empathy: structured 30-min lessons with warm-up, practice, and real-life speaking, plus the patience to let students mess up and try again. I’m working on my TEFL, and my goal is to give every beginner student 3 useful sentences in their very first class.

specialize in teaching absolute beginners by focusing on “survival English” first. My lessons prioritize high-frequency vocabulary, simple sentence patterns, and speaking from day one. For example, I use the “I want + noun” structure so students can order food or ask for help in their first week. My customer service background taught me how to stay calm, repeat clearly, and check understanding — skills I now use to build student confidence.
