About Stewart
I have taught in primary, secondary and special schools as well as in adult education settings since 1987. I have taught English at a range of different levels, from Entry level up to GCSE level. This has included people who struggle with basic reading, spelling and writing, and also those who have those basic skills but wish to improve their GCSE grade. I have also supported a number of home educated pupils successfully to achieve their English GCSE and International GCSE qualifications.

I have taught English for over 20 years to pupils in the primary and secondary age ranges and to adults. This includes preparing secondary pupils for GCSE exams. I have also been a GCSE English exam marker. I can help with any aspect of English, so lessons would be based on your needs. I teach by discussing, demonstrating, looking at examples and setting challenging but achieveable tasks. Careful feedback will help you to improve.
