About Reema

I have taught English to many different countries - from young children to adults. This past year I have been working as a high school science teacher in the UK. I have Qualified Teacher Status from the UK and Cambridge-accredited CELTA certificate.

About the lesson

When it comes to private tuition, the most important thing is that the lesson gives you your desired outcome. So how our lesson looks depends on what the learner or their parent wants from the lesson. There is a huge range of resources for learning English, and the more I know about you, the more easily I can choose the right resource. My CELTA training was targeted at adult learners, who should be practicing at least 70% of the lesson. Younger learners may require more direction from the teacher, and my experience as a school teacher prepares me to adapt my teaching to them.
