About Kailyn
I have been tutoring students in English and Literature for about 5 years now. I have always had a passion for reading and writing, and I wish to pass as much knowledge as I can to my students. I pride myself in seeing my students improve, whether it be in their confidence or their grades (or both).

Understanding my students strengths and weaknesses is a major discussion point. My first sessions consists of introductions so that we can break the ice and become comfortable with each other. During this time, I like to engage my student in open discussions of their specific needs/wants, as well as lay out my own expectations and goals during our time together.
Following this introductory session, I will have individualistic and specific lessons that are detailed for each student and their needs. What I enjoy about my lessons is that they are very easy to manipulate - if I notice that my student is still not grasping a skill, or they relay to me that they need more time with a particular lesson, then we can adjust the lesson plan and reevaluate.
