About Haris
I am an MA English student with a strong academic focus on literature, literary criticism, and critical theory. My interest lies in understanding literature as a reflection of historical, social, and philosophical forces, rather than treating texts as isolated narratives. This perspective shapes both my studies and my teaching.
I work with students at both school and college levels. For school students, I help build a solid foundation in reading comprehension, literary devices, essay writing, and clarity of expression, while gradually encouraging independent interpretation. For college students, my teaching focuses on classical and modern literature, French literature, poetry, and literary theory, with attention to close reading, critical frameworks, and academic writing.
I am best suited for students who want to engage seriously with literature, whether for academic improvement, university-level study, or a deeper intellectual understanding of texts.
