About Findlay
I have had an interest in English and language for as long as I remember, reading religiously in my spare time. However, while sitting my exams, I realised the importance of additional guidance and help with certain areas of the curriculum that often don't come naturally. My tutor helped me greatly, leading to me achieving A band ones/A* in both higher and advanced higher. I hope to help my students in the same way.

I will help you attain high grades in national 5, higher and advanced higher English. My approach to tutoring is geared towards the curriculums for the subject, with the aim of helping you attain high grades in their final exams and folios, concentrating on developing the skills required to do well, rather than simple memorisation. I offer highly personalised and tailored lessons for each of my students, prioritising the development of weaker areas using techniques best suited to your learning style. I have a lot of experience tutoring my friends and family, all of whom ended up attaining high grades in their final exams. I personally achieved A* in both higher and advanced higher, and have a comprehensive understanding of the requirements to do well. My lessons vary in length depending on the needs of the student, whatever lesson length is suitable or required for you to attain the desired results.
