About Maddie
I am an English student at the University of Exeter with a lot of experience in editorial work. I use my eye for detail - grammatical errors, sentence structure and typos - as a way of teaching young people. At the university, I am a tutor for a group of 12 students who are studying Advanced Critical Theory; I meet weekly with each student to help them engage with challenging theories. My students from last years group all achieved a 2:1 or above in this particular module.

My most recent tuition is specifically of a degree level; however, at secondary school, I was a mentor for children aged 11-15 who needed help to develop their literacy skills. I am very keen to structure lessons based on what the pupil needs and primarily focus on their specific needs. I am happy to teach one-to-one, online and/or in a group.
