About Emily
I will commence studying at the University of Exeter in 2019 following a gap year where I intend to work and gain experience in teaching English. I left secondary school with 40 IB points, the equivalent of 4 A* Grades at A level. I achieved both A*'s in GCSE English and an A equivalent in IB Higher Level English.

My teaching methods revolve around each student and how they learn best. I know from my own experience that students have their own unique methods by which information is best learned and retained, and I'm ready and willing to work hard with students to find the techniques that yield the most positive development and results. I am prepared to academically support my tutees in whatever ways suit them best, and aim to incorporate creative and challenging methods of learning alongside consistent testing, which I hope will give my students a critical and analytical eye in the study of English.
