About Julia
I am currently a matric student with an A average for English First Language as well as the top achieving English student in my grade of 200 plus students. I have been doing Advanced Programme English for three years now in which I have maintained an A/B average. I am passionate about writing, public speaking and analysing poetry, novels and films. In the future I would like to see myself experimenting with different media sources and using language to create a difference but for now, I would like to use my skill, however possible, to help and inspire others.

I am very much a social and interactive person and enjoy using teaching methods that inspire and excite students. My lessons would include personal one-on-one mentoring when writing essays, analysing poetry or novels and comprehension skills. I believe trial and error to be a useful teaching method as it allows students to learn from their mistakes and would exercise this in my lessons. I can personally aid students with their own setworks as well as assigning research projects on subjects of the students choice in which I help them with essay writing, speech writing and speech delivery skills.
