About Amaya
Hi! I'm a Year 9 student at a grammar school. I passed the 11+ a few years ago, so it's still really fresh in my mind.
I'm a friendly, patient and reliable person and I really enjoy working with younger kids. At school I'm strong in Maths and English and I love breaking down tricky problems into simple steps.
Outside of tutoring I enjoy netball so I am also quite sporty. I'm approachable and easy to talk to, so students feel comfortable asking questions.
I'm keen to help others get into grammar school like I did!

- Timing and exam technique
- Homework help and confidence building
- Mock questions and how to stay calm in the exam
Every 4 lessons I will write an overview of the student's progress to show their improvements and where they can improve.
