About Mirian
I am a native Spanish speaker. I've been teaching English, Spanish and Portuguese as second languages for six years. I've taught more than 580 students, helping them to improve their communication skills, pronunciation and fluency, succeeding at proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS and DELE as well as rising their confidence when communicating in the target language.

Every lesson combines vocabulary and grammar contextualized with everyday situations. We start our classes with with anecdotes and examples. Then we go to a straightforward clarification stage in which pronunciation will be practiced as well.
Then we will have a controlled practice in which students will have the opportunity to use the target language with the tutor's support in order to correct possible mistakes and achieve accurracy.
After that, Students will have a freer practice stage in which they are going to use the learnt vocab and structures in a funny and easy way so they include the new knowledge in a relaxed but dinamic situation.
Every class finishes with a feedback so students can be aware of their progress and the features they still need to improve.
I'm a joyful, creative and encoraging teacher who is passionate about helping students to learn effectively and successfully their target language.
