About Thea
I am extremely passionate about my subject and my student’s welfare - I believe in working with students to create a lifelong growth mindset, making them motivated and autonomous learners!
I have an English degree, 120hr TEFL certificate and Enhanced DBS check. References can also be supplied upon request. I am currently on my initial teacher training programme, and in June I will be nationally accredited to teach students in UK schools up to 18 years old.
I spent three years in China teaching ESL to children aged 2-14, whilst also tutoring on a 1-1 basis and working for a specialised literary school.

I am an energetic, goofy and wildly passionate person who loves her subject. I am an avid reader and creative writer myself, and so I would hope to immerse you in my literary world!
I have high expectations of my students, and each of our lessons will contain content that is accessible, but also provides appropriate challenge.
