About Kristen
I am an artist by trade, specialising in portraits and figurative arts, but have always excelled at and had interest in languages. I realised I was good at teaching and training, and decided to use those skills to help others in their language studies. I find teaching very rewarding and I learn as much as my students do in each lesson. Each student is different and I love seeing each student progress and achieve our goals for their language studies.

My approach to tutoring is catered entirely to the student's needs, goals and learning style. For young learners, that can be games or other kid-friendly materials and activities to make learning and test prep fun, for mature learners interesting and thought-provoking lessons that help you progress in your language journey.
I have a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, and a Level 5 168 hr TEFL certificate (CELTA equivalent)
I offer flexible lessons, 30 min, 45 min, 60 min.
Experienced in PET and KET prep, young learners, and teaching native Chinese speakers.
