About Jeah Faith

Hello! My name is Jeah. I have a background in Packaging Engineering. I chose to study engineering in order to challenge myself. However, growing up, teaching has always been my passion. So, I decided to pursue a career as a tutor. I first worked as a private tutor and taught Science, Math, and English to young learners in a one-on-one setting. Then, I worked as an online English tutor for Asian young and adult students with varying proficiency levels. The lessons we handled were mostly done online but when students visit the country, we also conducted face-to-face lessons. These experiences molded my abilities not only in English but also in teaching. In my free time, I write English young adult short novels published in an online community. This gives me the chance to continuously improve my grammar skills and further widen my vocabulary. Writing scenarios and dialogues in English also makes me learn about expressions used in English conversations. I am a person who is interested in learning about many different topics and cultures. Teaching English online will enable me to share my knowledge and continue learning at the same time. I believe clear English communication can help us form a bond with peers and colleagues on a worldwide level. Join my class and let's learn English together!

About the lesson

Techniques and Teaching Methodology: I focus on a student-centered and communicative approach, tailoring each lesson to the learner’s goals and proficiency level. My teaching emphasizes practical conversation, pronunciation, and confidence-building through interactive discussions, situational role-plays, and vocabulary development. I also incorporate grammar reinforcement and listening activities to help students use English naturally in real-life situations. Typical Length of a Lesson: A standard lesson lasts 25 to 50 minutes, depending on the student’s preference and schedule flexibility. Qualifications and Experience: I have 5 years of experience as an ESL teacher, specializing in teaching Japanese and Taiwanese students aged 18 to 70 years old. Over the years, I’ve helped learners improve their conversational fluency, business English, and test preparation (TOEIC, IELTS). I continuously adapt materials and methods to suit each student’s needs and learning pace. Who My Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for students up to adult learners, from beginner to advanced levels, who aim to improve their spoken English, grammar accuracy, and listening comprehension for both personal and professional communication.
