My special skills include:
• Creative Writing
• Video, Multimedia editing & Graphic Design
• Rugby coaching
• Life Skills Coaching
• Camp and Special Events co-ordination
• Herpetology and Entomology

Relevant Work Experience:
From January 2005 to December 2008 I worked as the assistant pastor at Living Rivers Family Church (now His Church South Coast), Pennington, KZN. Duties included establishing and running the youth program, general maintenance and multimedia duties, as well as teaching in the local Christian School.

From March 2009 to July 2011 I worked for Aston English School, at various locations in China, teaching English as a second/foreign language to children of all school ages as well as adults.

From September 2011 to January 2015 I taught English at the South West University of Finance and Economics, Chengdu, Sichuan, China.

From September 2015 to July 2023 I taught English to students of many different Majors and levels at Jimei University, Xiamen, Fujian, China.

About the lesson

I can teach both Afrikaans and English.

My lessons are:
1. Based on complete language submersion (when we are learning English, I do not understand Afrikaans and vice versa).
2. Focused on what truly matters concerning vocabulary and grammar.
3. Fully customisable, though only to the point of not sacrificing your growth in learning.
4. Expect lesson based conversation, homework, practical application and measurable growth.

If you need better English to improve your job searching, or if your English marks in School make your parents tear their hair out, I am the tutor for you.

English second/foreign language teacher with 14 years experience teaching all ages. Very practical lessons to improve your English as quick as possible.
