About Meg
I studied English Literature and History at the University of Edinburgh, and have experience as a graduate teaching assistant in the School of Public Health at Auckland University of Technology. I tutored both English and History during my studies to all school levels, as well as volunteering with English learners, children with special educational needs, and have helped people who speak English as a second language with their CVs and cover letters.

I work with students and parents to develop a personalised lesson plan to best approach their learning goals, structuring lessons in six-week chunks to ensure that milestones are being met. I have experience of teaching support at all levels, from teaching reading and literacy, assisting teaching English as a second language, and teaching communication and research methods at university level, and enjoy working with the student to find their best method of learning, both for our lessons and for their use in other learning. I work one-on-one or with small groups.
