About Steven
For the past decade, I've taught English at both a high school and college level. Adding in my work as a private tutor, I've helped hundreds of students learn the ins and outs of grammar, even the really boring parts. I do my best to bring patience, empathy, and humor into every lesson.

The only thing that's universal about the SAT process is that it's stressful. Other than that, every student has different needs. That's why I try to keep my approach versatile: lessons may include reviewing practice tests, walking through practice problems together, or discussing general test-taking strategies. I assess each student's strengths and weaknesses when it comes to reading, grammar, and critical thinking, then tailor each lesson accordingly.
