About Aruanna
Hi! I'm Aruanna and I am a student living in London, UK.I have been interested in learning languages and linguistics since 2019. My two native languages are English and Russian, but I am also fluent in Kazakh, French, and Italian. At the moment, I am learning Spanish and German. (I can also speak a little Serbian). I genuinely enjoy learning languages and exploring cultures that are tied to them, and I certainly hope to expand my interests further. I am a Humanities student who is a huge film buff and loves theatre, music, and arts in general. Hence, in my lessons, I hope my students similarly enjoy the language-learning process and discover something new for themselves.

I have been studying languages for six years and have found my own methods of grasping the concepts of a new language. They include working on getting over mental barriers in speaking, exposure to the language and culture, and using play as an essential method of learning. Typically, lessons last for an hour, however, lesson duration may vary depending on personal preference. I have worked as an ESL and Russian tutor for the past 3 years. My previous experience includes working one-on-one with kids and teenagers, as well as working with larger groups, and organizing big projects centred on learning English through theatre and play. Nonetheless, I have experience teaching speaking, and listening to people ages 25 and up. Therefore, my lessons are open to people of all ages and levels!
