About Becca
I am in my final year of my Bachelor of Fine Arts (Creative Writing and Art History) at the Queensland University of Technology. I have previous teaching experience as an Art Aide at Lourdes Hill College and as a primary school chess teacher for Chess Mates. I am a non-fiction writer/poet, and the winner of the 2022 Hardie Grant Spark Prize.

I ensure to get to know the student and their learning needs in order for them to have a rich learning experience. Tackling weaker foundational skills are very crucial in my methodology, whether that's in the areas of spelling, grammar, punctuation, or reading.
