About Christopher
As a certified teacher and tutor with past Integrated Middle School Curriculum Certification and Current MS Math 5-9, ELA 6-12, and Social Studies 6-12 Certifications, I have always welcomed expanding my breadth and depth of knowledge and succeeded in teaching grades 3 through 12 in all core subjects plus foreign languages (Spanish, French, German) over a decade .

Determine base knowledge and skill level for each subject before introducing new material. Connect to student's prior knowledge and experience, make frequent associations and encourage frequent student input. Praise liberally and interject thoughtful commentary, and introduce q and a sessions to improve critical thinking. Lots of choices and challenges should be provided to make lessons more like practical learning workshops where new skills are introduced and practiced as soon as they are acquired.
KEEP THEN ENGAGED....the secret is to make it a CHALLENGE but also INTERESTING...and FUN...lots of hands-on activities and centers to practice varied tasks.
