About Tanya
I enjoy teaching and homeschool my son. Teaching grammar is my favorite part of homeschool. It’s so much fun to see how all the parts fit together! I also love coaching children in reading. It’s amazing to see all the pieces come together and watch children sound out words!

If you need help with grammar, I’m the person for you! I love grammar and often find parts of speech for fun. I enjoyed advanced grammar as part of my English education major. I also studied ESL and spent a semester teaching English to speakers of other languages.
I also enjoy teaching reading. I’ve worked in a kindergarten class as an assistant and also taught my own children to read during homeschooling. In college I took a teaching reading course in addition to my education major; as part of my practicum, I tutored a child who was behind grade level. I also teach reading classes at our homeschool group. Let’s work on reading together!
