About Alex
I am in my third year at University, studying Literature. I am totally passionate about my subject, and achieved highly at GCSE and A-Level. I am new to tutoring but I hope to qualify to teach in mainstream schools after my degree course, so this is a brilliant stepping-stone to a bright and exciting future career.

I practically live in my university library - I have a rich and diverse range of literature, critical texts, and companion guides. I take great interest in the social and cultural contexts at play in works of fiction and poetry, which I know is important to enriching the text and grappling with its key themes. These skills are central to exams and essay writing, and I hope that I can bring these texts to life in my teaching.
