About Saoirse
I am a student and I am really enthusiastic about my degree. I was inspired to choose English as a degree through my own A Level English teacher. I think having the right motivator helps you to not only enjoy a subject but to achieve amazing results. I hope to motivate anyone to love English as much as I do.

I believe it is very important to begin any lesson with asking a student what they’re struggling with. I think this is extremely helpful to boost their own confidence in being able to ask for help in future, and being able to really get to the core of helping each individual student. I don’t believe there is always a ‘one size fits all’ to studying English, some may need help in contextualising a text and some may need help in analysing a text. It really depends but understanding where a student needs help is extremely important, first and foremost.
